Nala Beef Meat Processing Plant (“Nala Beef MPP”) is a Level 1 B-BBEE specialised beef processing company that has operations in Free State, Mpumalanga, and Gauteng provinces of South Africa.

The Company operates as a specialised beef processor focused on producing high quality manufacturing beef, burger patties, and beef jerky for domestic and international markets.

The three beef abattoirs have the capacity to slaughter a combined 900 cattle a day. All the abattoirs are EU export standard, have export approved meat processing plants, chilling, blast freezing, and holding facilities.

The same high standards and guiding principles are followed in all our abattoirs. Traceability systems are in place in all our abattoirs. These help to identify carcasses by using barcode systems that provide all the necessary information about the product and its origin. Traceability systems are of great importance when certain characteristics need to be verified i.e. brand, specie of animal, source, etc. Traceability is also of vital importance for recall procedures.
